SAQ TRAINING EXPLAINED
SAQ training for the Cheetahs is a service provided by PTI (Performance Training Inc). SAQ (Speed, Agility, and Quickness) is a comprehensive package of more than 40 powerful training systems designed to enhance the sport specific needs of the athlete. SAQ encompasses explosive training, resistance training, hand-eye coordination, quick-hand instruction, balance, perception, multi-directional movement, acceleration, and velocity training. These training methods improve physical performance in all sports through better preparation of the athlete for the demands of competition. The major distinction between SAQ and traditional training is the emphasis on the neuro-muscular system. In other words, teaching the brain and the body teamwork.

SAQ training will be held in the evenings from 5-6:00 pm on Mondays for HS players and 5-6:20 pm (with wall ball session) on Thursdays for HS and MS players in January and part of February. For more details click here: Cheetahs Schedule and open our preseason schedule.

cardio & weight training classes
Weight Training Class:
A barbell class that shapes, tones and strengthens your entire body. It’s one of the fastest ways to get in shape. It challenges all of your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls focusing on high repetition movements with low weight loads.
Cardio Class:
This energetic cardio workout is inspired by martial arts. Supported by driving music, you strike, punch, and kick your way to superior cardio fitness.
